Flor de Pingus 2023
93-94/100 Punkte von Robert Parker's THE WINE ADVOCATE für Flor de Pingus 202394-95 Punkte von Antonio Galloni für Flor de Pingus 2023 Der Rotwein Flor de Pingus 2023 wurde 14 Monate in Barriquefässern aus französischer Eiche ausgebaut.Ausgezeichneter Rotwein Flor de Pingus 2023 des renommierten Weinguts Dominio de Pingus vom Weinmacher und Önologen Peter Sisseck.93-94 Punkte in Robert Parker's THE WINEADVOCATE für Flor de Pingus 2023:The 2023 Flor de Pingus is pretty, juicy, ripe and approachable, less serious than the 2022. It's all really balanced and integrated and has good purity. The wine spent eight months in oak barrels, and in 2023, they introduced six 2,000-liter oak vats for the élevage of part of the wine, which represents around 15% of the volume, where it matured for 12 months. It's an approachable vintage of Flor. All in all, the élevage was a little shorter this year. This should be bottled starting in early May 2025. The expected volume is around 92,000 bottles. 94-95 von Antonio Galloni für Flor de Pingus 2023: The 2023 Flor de Pingus is made from over 20 hectares of old Tinta del País vines and 15 hectares of Garnacha in Ribera del Duero. It was aged in 10–15% new oak. Violets, fresh plum and a delicate touch of oak open on the nose. Fine-grained reactive tannins define the texture. A red with charming nuances and evolving character. PSI 2024 - Peter Sisseck
96 Punkte von Antonio Galloni für PSI 2024ANTONIO GALLONI: "The 2024 PSI is Tinta del País with 10% Garnacha from old vineyards in Soria, Ribera del Duero, where mixed plantings remain part of the historic fabric. Within Ribera's broader landscape, PSI stands apart for embracing that tradition. Much like in Rioja, Garnacha works its quiet magic here, lending freshness and a red-fruited lift to the blend. Recently bottled, it shows ripe red fruit, subtle balsamic notes and a persistent fruit core. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining an enveloping texture with delicate chalky tension. Plush tannins provide support without constriction, while the finish gains definition through its fresh fruit character. Even at this early stage, it already projects that rare combination of sensuality and seriousness." 94 Punkte von Robert Parker Wine Advocate für PSI 2024THE WINE ADVOCATE: "There's less Garnacha in the blend of the 2024 PSI, perhaps only 3% or 4%, because the variety suffered more with the frost at the end of April. The focus is of course the grapes, now farmed organically and also biodynamically (but that is not certified). This is produced with some of the latest technology, to separate the individual grapes according to the content of sugar. The discarded grapes are vinified separately at low temperature and with a quick pressing. The selected grapes are fermented in 50 10,000-liter stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts. The wine matured in 6,000-liter foudres, 5,000-liter oak vats, 10% to 15% in barriques and a small portion in Clayver ceramic ovals for 14 months. Last year, it was still primary and young but quite tannic and not easy to read. It has evolved very nicely since then. It has tannicity, but it also has developed that juiciness that makes it finer-boned. Despite the difficulties of the year, it seems to be one of the finest PSIs, above 2023; it's still very young and primary, with the seriousness and backward quality of the year, but it should evolve nicely in bottle. It comes in at 14% alcohol and has a pH of 3.7. 330,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2026." Pingus 2018
98 Punkte im Decanter Magazin für Pingus 2018100 Punkte von Robert Parker für Pingus 2018Ausgezeichneter Rotwein Pingus 2018 des renommierten Weinguts Dominio de Pingus vom Weinmacher und Önologen Peter Sisseck. 98 Punkte im DECANTER: "Amid all the hype about its price and cult status, it’s easy to forget that Pingus is also a magnificent expression of both Ribera del Duero in general and the estate’s tiny vineyard in particular: a seamless, satiny texture, with not a hair out of place- superb depth of pure mulberry flavour with subtle shadings of spice, but no feeling of excess- contained power – beautifully balanced with a seam of high-plateau freshness- gorgeous young, but years ahead of it. Biodynamic."100 Punkte im THE WINEADVOCATE: "I was really looking forward to the bottled version of the 2018 Pingus after a great showing of the cask sample last year. Part of the wine matured in 20,000-liter oak casks, so it's not all barrique. This is the first time they used the vats, and based on the results, Sisseck thinks in the future Pingus will be around 50% in oak vats. The Pingus vines were planted in 1929 in two different sectors of the village of La Horra, Barroso and San Cristobal and contain some 2% other varieties. The vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic and are manicured like few vineyards in Spain. The wine is subtle and harmonious, elegant and insinuating, with all the components in very good balance. This is precise and pure- Sisseck is thorough and meticulous, and the wine shows that precision. This follows the line of the 2016, showing very well even if it was bottled only one month before I tasted it. 9,300 bottles were filled in August 2020."
